NOT The Mermaid Parade! Streaming Live this Saturday, June 20th, 8pm!

For the past 37 years, Coney Island USA has ushered in the summer with the Mermaid Parade. This year’s parade was originally scheduled for June 20, but the universe had other plans.

But to the universe we say, PHOOEY! We’re having a parade anyway. But even the indefatigable organizers of the Mermaid Parade know when it is time to regroup and delay. So our Mermaid Parade 2020 will not take place at its traditional time on the summer solstice. Instead it will take place later in the season.

And when will that be you ask?

Well we’re not going to let the solstice go to waste. So we’ve decided to announce our plans for 2020 on June 20th, the day when we would have had the Mermaid Parade. And instead of just putting out a press release, we’re going to do it with style - with special performances! And you can watch it in realtime via a streaming broadcast direct from our Coney Island headquarters at Sideshows By the Seashore.

Performers include:
Pink Velvet Witch
Sage Sovereign
With your host, Adam RealMan
And special Mermaid Parade announcement by the permanently unelected Mayor of Coney Island, Dick Zigun.

Watch it live this Saturday, June 20th, 8pm Eastern Time at:

Dick Zigun's State of Coney Island Weekly Address
